I have been looking for sites that have old wood cuts and copyright free images. I can never find them. Does anybody know of a resource to get copyright-free images?

Not to be a smart ass or anything, but for the woodcuts, you'd probably do well at the analogue library (the one with "real" books), and just scanning or shooting the images. That way, you get the image at the resolution you're looking for.
Just make sure they are indeed public domain.
