Workflow secrets

I'm trying to figure out a way to automatically designate a pdf as 300 dpi or 72 dpi by either an icon or label or highlighting of some sort. For example, when I export a pdf from indesign, I'd like to be able t have someone else look at the pdf without opening it and know if it's high res or low res. I know I could just add it to the filename but that's extra work. Anyone have any ideas? Or anybody have any other workflow secrets or hints they care to share?
