www.IconOf.Com

www.IconOf.Com is my portfolio website, which was launched about a week ago. It's full flash, since i wanted to present my info and portfolio in a more elegant way.

I would appreciate any feedback and comments on the things you _don't_ like!

Thank you :)

The artwork is very crisp and clean, and you area a great talent when it comes to flash / programming.

Overall concept is good. However two things jump out at me...

1. The justification of type. Turn it off. Left justify in this situation

2. The purple abstract and delta/shark tooth graphic looks like a uterus & fallopian tubes.

The site is very nice, very clean and smooth. Although, the very first thing I noticed was the purple thing right in the center. It didn't strike me as fallopian tubes, but as a pair of glowing purple underwear. Other than that, awesome site, great work!

i agree with shawn, the rivers of space between the text on the 'home' page look awkward. not so much in the last 3 paragraphs but extremely noticeable in the first 2 and takes away from the whole piece. solution would be to add maybe a line or two more of text. this will cover two weak points, the vague/generalness entire block of text and fixing the aesthetics. the text could use some spice and personality.. it is what i imagine a robot graphic designer would say. 'HELLO, I AM ROBOT, I AM FROM THIALAND. THIS SITE IS WHERE I COME FROM, ALL OF MY FUNCTIONS ARE ...'. in all seriousness (the robot part was a joke :p) the text could use some personality and would help close the gaps.

I dont see the uterus/fallopian tubes. :D

Iooks great tho, its a unique looking portfolio, in design and concept.

oh yeah,
i hate music on websites, especially portfoilio ones. (forgot to mention this because i alwayyyssss turn music off as soon as i get toa site and forgot it was there) the site has a greater sense of mystery without it FOR SURE. ditch the musicccc pleassseeeee

I LOVE your site. Agreed on the music. Have it set to off by default. Most people won't even hear it anyway if they have pcs as many stock pcs don't come with audio cards. :)

Great work. Keep it up! I'm a web designer myself, working on web development. Do you do any action scripting or databases in conjunction with your flash?

I agree on the justified type it looks bad.

Second. when clicking on your portfolio, i think the blur is there for too long, I like the effect, but it messes with my eyes a lot. I just think a quicker fade in would be nice. Much past that i like it.

life is great; without it, you'd be dead.

Yep, all of the comments so far I agree with. The other thing is, I immediately was able to recognize the flower shapes brushes/vector art from Design Fruit - I've seen them on a lot of sites lately, so you might want to be careful about that.

Another comment I have is that I'm not really liking the Copperplate font in the logo (the tiny serifs don't seem to fit), and it seems to me like the logo is taking up too much space - like saying "Don't worry about my portfolio, LOOK! I have a snazzy logo!" You might want to have it big on the home page and then size it down for the others.
