Hi, I really don't know what to do next with this design. Paul Knopf (The person whom I've been speaking with about the website) hasn't responded to any of my emails. What would a professional do in that situation? And how much should I charge...Also, what do you think this website design needs? It doesn't feel....complete to me. I'm not sure why or what I can do to fix it. Please Critique! thx! (It isn't finished yet. Paul Knopf hasn't approved any of the design/layout yet, so I've stopped working on it for the time being)

what is it for? It looks
what is it for? It looks really really disconnected.. I think you may be trying to hard. think simple and clean, I'm not sure on the copyrights for using all those mac Icons...
happy Easter though!

My goodness, you need to
My goodness, you need to stop and get back to the beginning. A few things:
1. Get that contract signed before you do any work! At least get paid 1/3rd down payment as a show of good faith. As of now without a contract you're doing spec work. A big no no (www.no-spec.com)
2. If I were your client I'd look at this design, see it as a 'sketch' since it's not been paid for, and move on to a different designer. Mainly because you don't have a contract but also because the design isn't well thought out.
A few design tips:
1. Get a color scheme together. Black grey and hospital scrubs green looks awful.
2. Get a hierarchy together. What's the most important area in this layout? What's the second most important, and so on. I don't know where to look first on this.
3. GET A CONTRACT SIGNED BEFORE YOU START ANY DESIGN WORK.
I hate to be a broken record but why are you working on this at all without a signed contract? :)
I think you get my point. Anyway, search this website for 'contract' and 'website design' to get inspired and to get some links on where to find contracts. Get crackin! I'd be surprised if you get paid for your time spent on this to date, but to figure out what to charge, talk to designers in your area. You could have an hourly rate anywhere between $35-$125 depending on your experience and location.
