And it's quite plausible too. It's been around for a while, though. Good to see it's making it's way around the internet still.
I'd like to see this again next year to see how things are going. Do you guys think unprofessional journalism, like this blog is a bad thing and it's gonna kill pro news agencies?
If there were like 100 blogs like this one and Jim's CreativeGuy, etc. and all the news would be shuffled into one syndication, would it replace the Mac and Design magazines? I don't know.
I realise that my language is not as good as a pro journalist's of the leading Mac magazines, but I think the freedom from sponsors and the honest passion is something good. We don't have to kiss ass to Adobe or Apple. We still do but for non monerary reasons. :)
I think the blogging we do is a hobby and therefore doesn't compete with professional magazines. Whatever way Google will organize these posts it will never replace a magazine with a vision.
It happens with all new things. People tend to be paranoid. But as hobby videocameras didn't replace tv production or as street racing didn't replace pro racing competitions, bloggers will not replace news agencies.
