iOS 6 3D flyover maps

The new iOS 6 3D flyover maps really do look impressive where available just as promised by Apple at their latest Keynote. Check out these quick screen shoots I took below of US cities. The more you wait for the data to download the sharper and more detailed the images get. I find this feature very nice because it gives me a quick understanding of the 3D space around a certain area especially as I turn the viewing angle around. This is a big further improvement over the flat satellite images.

iPhone 4S's Siri in action

Siri on iPhone 4S lets you use your voice to send messages, schedule meetings, place phone calls, and more. Ask Siri to do things just by talking the way you talk. Siri understands what you say, knows what you mean, and even talks back. Siri is so easy to use and does so much, you’ll keep finding more and more ways to use it.

Check out this convincing live demo.

A handful of them took advantage of what the touch interface, gyroscope, GPS, internet connectivity and other technologies offer. Stories can now be told in a more engaging and original way on the iPad.
