Great Examples Of Negative Space In Logo Design
Ivan | Fri, 2010-02-12 06:56
There are literally millions of logos in this world, which makes it even harder for companies to stand out from the rest. Some designers try to tackle this problem by using the negative space in their logos. They are able to link this negative space to the brand so it becomes an important aspect of the corporate identity. In this case, the negative space of the logo forms some kind of ‘hidden message’. In this article you’ll find 25 beautiful examples of the creative use of negative space in logo design.

'Human' is a very creative logo, but sometime I feel the sperm tail is a bit forceful. I don't know but something like this....
...... what will not overlap on 'n' of 'human'.
Thanks!

One of most favorite negetive space logo is the old NorthWest airlines.

You will find the 'N' & 'W' both so complementing each other and the arrow(part of 'W') in the circle symbolizes a compass pointing in the northwestern direction.
Now they made the logo too obvious.
Thanks!

I don't get it. I admit. I see the papers, but what's the black part? Am I supposed to see something?
Yvan, the round black part represent a round table (for negotiations)..

Loving all the logo designs - both graphic and website design is a passion of mine. I actually prefer the Human logo as it was, with the sperm overlapping the 'n' - very creative and effective!
