The taller iPhone 5 meme

I love it how fandroids are trying to trash the iPhone 5 by posting funny overstretched pictures of the phone on social media as if it was a negative. I wonder if they realize that tallness is the most important selling point for this model and every post that enforces this message is free advertising for Apple. Hilarious!

Just in: Demand for the device is so strong that Apple sold out of its initial inventory in an hour and pushed back its shipping date for such pre-orders.

One of the knocks the PC folks had on the iPhone was the size. So Apple makes it larger and now they complain about that. Meanwhile the phones are flying off the shelf and the stock is going thru the roof again.

ive pre-ordered. but i sure would have preferred larger than simply taller. "true 16x9" means nothing to me. and i think the 4 was slim enough. i'd have also preferred they left the thickness alone and the old 30pin intact... as i assume would MANY other folks.

but hey. they gotta sell accessories, right?

having taken my 4 for a swim 2 weeks ago. im just dying to get anything ; )

What I find amusing is they want to make fun of a slightly taller iPhone but won't admit that the Samsung Galaxy screen gets bigger and fatter as well. Hell, why don't they just take the Galaxy Tab and make it their new phone. Isn't the Galaxy Note a step in that direction?
