Google Labs releases Similar Images Search

Google just released a service that several other companies were experimenting with in the last years. Similar Images Search helps you find images that are similar, but not necessarily exactly the same. This can be very useful for certain projects and now that Google is behind this technology we have a huge library of images to search from.
To use it simply search for keywords and then click the Similar images link below the thumbnail. You can learn more by watching this goofy video by google:

This is excellent!
I use google images all the time when searching for a model reference when drawing in 3DSMax.. This similar images function will be a godsend.
Google always finds a way to surprise. This really can be handy! Great post!
Wow! This is great! Thanks for posting :)

Doesn't iPhoto use similar technology?

but it does more than that. iPhoto has face recognition which is a bit more sophisticated than this.
A filter to only include images that use the CreativeCommons license would be nice. That way you could filter to only see images that are free to use for your projects. Flickr has this feature, I use it all the time.
