“I fear no man” comes from a series of images and Youtube remixes based on a few promotional videos for the video game Team Fortress 2. In June of 2012, the official Youtube account for Team Fortress 2 uploaded a video titled “Meet the Pyro,” who is a character from the video game. At the start of this video, The Pyro says “I fear no man. But the thing, it scares me.”

This video has become the origin of both the picture of video versions of this meme. As of November 2017, the video posted on Youtube has been view around 28 million times.

The first use of this video as a meme occurred on June 11th of 2013. A Youtuber by the name of SUPERMARIOGALAXY13 and edited the footage of a Super Smash Brothers advertisement. This uploaded video has received around 113,000 views in the past 4 years.

The following year, this audio from the original scene was used in another Youtube video posted and has received more than 2,000 views. In February of 2014, MemeCenter posted a version of this meme and collected 2,1000 likes on the post in 3 years.

In 2015, latroph, a Youtuber, remixed this original video with a clip of the professional wrestler John Cena and received around 4,500 views. More Youtube remixes using the original clip were released in the following years.

In the next few weeks, this meme made its first appearance on Reddit, receiving more than 5,700 points in less than 24 hours.

This popular image follows a character from Family Guy named Ralph, while he is sitting on a bus. The scene where this screenshot comes from is originally found in the episode labeled “The Simpsons Guy,” in which the cast of Family Guy enters The Simpsons universe.

Later, this image gets captioned with “I’m in danger” developing this reaction image into a meme. Now, this meme is used as a reaction to when an individual might find themselves in danger.

On March 29, 2018, Reddit user FlimFlambadam uploaded this image shown below and gained around 4,800 up-votes.

This post was submitted on January 1st, 2011, featuring an image of mixed media photoshopped on Disneys Toy Story character Woody. The famous line “This isn’t even my final form” is captioned.

This memorable quote was spoken by the character Spongebob, from a widely known Nickelodeon animated series Spongebob Square Pants.

In October of 2001, a Spongebob episode named “Squid on Strike” was aired in the United States, where Spongebob protest against his employer Mr. Krabs. He calls the Krusty Krab unfair and is overheard by Mr. Krabs, who was visibly unhappy hearing this.

The most popular version of this clip as a Vine was posted by NaturalExample, remixing this song with a new beat, gaining more than 64,000 loops and almost 1,000 likes.

On September 27th, 2016, a screenshot was posted on Tumblr from a Fox News broadcast with an individual holding up a sign with this popular quote “Krusty Krab is Unfair!” This post on Tumblr received 127,000 notes in three years.

“Thunder Cross Split Attack” is the name of a popular move used by the minor character Dire, in the series Jojos Bizarre Adventure. On September 14th, 1987 The Three from a Faraway Land: Part 3 was published, where this move is used. In one part of the 38th chapter, minor character Dire attacks the main villain Dio Brando, with this move called “Thunder Cross Split Attack.” This move involved holding the opponents arms apart with a split whole protecting the body and face with crossed arms, preventing the opponent from blocking or counter-attacking.

Among the anime fans, this attack has now become a popular reference, with the move recreated and parodied.
