Check out this cool microsite made for Adobe! Take as much as you want and check out the CS3 Billboard posted earlier too.

That, is simply brilliant.

In fact it made my day.

simple but strong concept

really this is an simple & very strong concept, I really liked this but I have a suggestion, why not you make letter A of ace in Adobe style letter A?
It may be more effective.

Think, Act, Invent.

Because this appears to be

Because this appears to be more of a proof of concept than a straight advert for Adobe, if you replaced the 'A' with the Adobe logo, I think it'd cheapen the whole thing to be honest.

I'm slow and not afraid to admit it...

I'm guessing this is to showcase Flash capabilities, and to that end, it's quite good. But the sliding bar at the bottom doesn't seem to have much purpose and - unless I didn't stick around long enough - it seems to end with the focus being on the castle entrance, but no other indicator that the "presentation" is done. Am I missing something? Did I not hang around long enough? It just seems that without any explanation of what is expected from the viewer, it's not clear if there is a more interactive intent. I love good design, but if it doesn't fulfill a purpose, I guess ... I don't know ... I guess I just don't get it.

I guess...

I'm guessing the bar at the bottom shows a way in which you can control imported animations on Flash such as this one (I'm guessing After Effects here)...The cool fact is that it doesn't just stop the animation at a random point, but it 'softly' goes to a key point in the animation, when you stop the bottom bar at any point...Almost like the animation was still going and breathing, just waiting for you

I guess ... I'm not alone

I think what The Ad Mad says kind of reinforces my point. If someone like you (Ad Mad) doesn't really know what part of the interface does, but rather what a part of the functionality _seems_ to do, then does it really count as good design?

Pretty Cool...

Well, in the end Adobe's gonna do what it's gonna do. I thought it was very creative and interesting. I do agree however, that design without a purpose is...well, confusing. But, I do enjoy entertainment. I liken it to stupid movies that I still laugh at or am entertained by. It's worth the few minutes to watch.

Very cool showcase overall,

Entertaining movie, although I do agree with the others about the sliding bar on the bottom.

I wonder why they chose the Ace of Spades? Although deemed the highest playing card, it also has the connotation of being the "death card." I would of maybe used the Ace of Hearts just to have a Red A on the card hinting on the logo and heart signifying brand loyalty or fans. Am I thinking too deep on this? lol.

Nice... but still lost

It looked good and ran smoothly.. but what did they mean by "Take as much as you want"? I was literally looking for stuff
