I still have Obama's logo carved in my mind, and every time I see it it's like going back to 2008... and I don't live in the US.
Logos are powerful. Long live the logos, and the minds behind the good ones.

I think Huntsman's and Cain's aren't too bad. But the Obama team has done a really good job creating such a versatile logo.

i was surprised that, although they mentioned the odd capitalization on pawlenty, neither mentioned the fact that it was also done poorly. the weight of the P and Y is out of whack with the weight of the rest. like a badly done imitation of a poor small caps implementation instead of an actual small caps font. seeing that kind of out-of-whack small caps stuff always jumps out at me and feels cheap.
