Different Style of E-commerce Site

This has actually been pretty fun to work on, something a little different for a change. Love to hear your thoughts on the layout and graphics. The site will use css layout with a few flash components. I plan on having the content center and the wood pattern repeating.

Is it going to be bandwidth friendly? It looks great.
Also, how would the design stretch for larger font sizes?

I really like the concept & your use of the wood surfaces. The ripped paper testimonials are a nice touch but the handwritten font styles are somewhat hard to read. Almost immediately my eye runs to the logo/sign, but is somewhat confused after that. May be interesting to see more of that stark, contrasty style from the sign used in the content area somehow... another sign-type object perhaps. I am anxious to see how you take this to html/css- I think it definitely fits the product you are selling - great job.
