counting school, which surely is work, i pull 12-14 hours each day easily. School at 8 in the morning. Stay there until about 2-3. Then go to work and stay there until my girlfriends gets of work, usually about 8-8.30. Home and eat, and then do some freelance work if I have anything waiting.
This is NOT healthy.

There's actual productive work and there's attendance at the workplace. The two might be combined once you're at the workplace.. Which one should I vote for? :-D

Business related meetings are considered part of the projects, and I do count them as part of the work hours. However, there are people who play when they don't have assigned work.
I consider many activities to be part of work: flipping through magazines and newspapers, looking at and discussing available ads and whoever is paying for advertising. Self development by learning existing and new tools... etc.
I don't consider gossip, social chitchat, solving crossword puzzles, playing computer games, or spacing out to be work even if the person was at the workplace.. If you don't have the mood to work, go home or out for a cup of coffee, or anything other than wasting time and negatively influencing the workplace... We're all humans and have certain capacities, never force yourself to be at work..

I could never play around at my job. They would certainly kick me in my back. I have to look busy. :)
It's not that, it's just..
If you want to play around, it's better to play around properly, right? Why play around at the workplace.. :)
