I don't know if you've seen this, but I just wanted to share a small icon set I made, with the creative bunch of you. It's both for mac and pc, but it's probably targeted most at mac people :)
To my surprise, The Iconfactory posted a link on their front page to this iconset, so I must have done something right :)
Anyways, I just wanted to share it with you - not as a selfpromo, more as a gesture, because I love this site.

While this post does come
While this post does come off a little bit like self promo, the icons are nice. Thanks for sharing!
Maybe you could talk a little bit about your design process in creating these?

Powerpoint is not a design application
Well it's pretty straight
Well it's pretty straight forward. First I usually scout the web for reference photos. After collecting a bunch I start out by drawing the basic shapes with the path tool in photoshop. I keep everything in vectors, so it's possible to rescale without quality loss. Then I start adding shading to the object by using a series of layer styles, ie. bevel, inner shadow and more. There are a lot of subtle gradients to define the shapes, you can take a look on the downloadable polaroid on my site to see what i mean. I use a lot of layerstyles, and often "not the way they are supposed to be used". Ie. often use inner shadow to define highlight.
If you have any specific questions, I would gladly answer them :)
