OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard problem: Opening multiple files

You must have noticed an annoying little bug in Snow Leopard. When you try to open multiple files it only opens one at a time. Unfortunately I couldn't find a perfect solution, but there is an intermediate workaround until Apple fixes it.
- Download and uncompress the attached file to your Desktop
- Open Terminal and navigate to the folder you want to fix
- Enter this command: find . -exec ~/Desktop/quarantine.sh '{}' \;

Huh!? On my SL installation I select two Pages docs, a Keynote doc, a pdf and a plain text file... left click, select Open and BAM multiple doc (of different types) open in their respective programs without doing anything special to the system. Works the same for files of same type. Also works for Open With... (a bunch of image files in different formats opened with Photo Shop) Again... Huh!?
It doesn't happen with every installation fortunately.
I wonder... Did you do a straight upgrade or did you do a clean install. So far I've just done a straight upgrade on all my machines without a problem.

This is happening to me with Photoshop (CS3) only. Illustrator and InDesign are fine.
All you have to do is update Leopard to 10.6.1. I think they knew of the bug and addressed it immediately after it's discovery. I don't seem to have the problem any longer since I made the update last night.
I'm using a Macbook Pro 2,1 (late '06 model). SL seems to work great! I just need SSD now and I'm good for a while longer.
I have 10.6.1 and still experience the bug, but you're correct. A lot of people reported the update fixed it.

I also admit that there is a big problem of opening multiple files at the same time with snow leopard. I have faced it so many times. Can you tell me the exact solution to get rid of this problem.
