Hi
An experiment with my visual identity that has to show my "individual style". This approach will be based on Organic and Playful theme.I did some changings into my brief. Therefore now I am focusing on " metaphors". Fox is my selected animal which represents what exactly I want to communicate.
Looking forward for your feedback
I am creating my visual identity with my real name " Shah
is this a school project? if it is - id consider it reasonably successful. because the first thing i saw was a paw-print.
if its an actual logo that you will use - utter failure. too many things going on.
Why are your counters filled with black? The shapes look like an after thought. Stop trying to push a concept into your name. Unless this is a school project where you're mandated to use your name as the mark, it's alright to jump out of just typographic solutions if you're stuck trying to come up with something genuine.
It's sharp, the balance on it is odd, it won't reproduce well and once again, it's focal point draws you back out instead of in and or to your graphic designer tagline. Paper. Pencil. Sketch. Don't do anything digital until you rough out 200 thumbnails, pick a handful you like and believe in as good solutions and THEN polish them.
A side note, you just mentioning fox only confused me. As an after thought I guess I can see a paw print but thousands of animals around the world have paws, you're going to have to choose something more definitive for us to understand that without an explanation. Logos are supposed to speak for themselves when you can't.
i dont really get what the two long lines are supposed to represent...?
Playful... but not very organic in my book. It looks a little like a paw print - but not sure I would have gathered that without the explanation. The fill-ins just remind me of a ditzy girl filling in letters while she's talking on the phone or something. You need to take this a lot further imho.
can't read it when shrinked
yes I'm brazilian xD
cant really read it at all ; )
Why do you want to communicate fox? Are you a cunning predator who kills chickens at night, then leads hounds and horses on merry chases by day? What on earth does that have to do with design?
How old are you? Just curious.

weve not heard from the OP. but im pretty sure this is just an exercise or school project
Pretty sure you're right. Looks like the kind of stuff we did in 4th grade.

no need to be insulting. this is pretty standard "design 101" coursework.
I wasn't being insulting. We actually did art projects like this in 4th grade at my school. It was part of learning cursive handwriting.
