Alex Rank enumerates some parameters, about backlinks, pageviews, hosts to site.
I'm from Russia and we don't use this mitrick, we just use Google PR and yandex's rank - TIC.

For example, my site potochka.ru has PR - 2, TIC - 10. And for many low keys answers sows on top-10.

Many CEO think, Alex Rank - is smallest parametr for shows on top.
